"I purchased this set for my mother about 15 or 20 years ago and loved it. I finally ordered this same set for myself and I am dumbfounded at how cheap (but an expensive $300) this set is now! Not only is the quality less but the dishes are VERY small! The dinner plates are somewhat smaller but livable. However the salad plates and soup bowls are ridiculous they are so small. I will feel humiliated to serve family a half cup of chili in these bowls because that is all they will hold. I am keeping them because I unpacked all of them and discarded the boxes but I would never recommend these to anyone."
"The quality in this stoneware makes it last for many years. We had this same pattern many years ago and loved it. Great dishes for the money."
"amazing quality. very thick and heavy plates that will last a long time. our last set has been in the family for 25 years and the quality now is the same from all those years ago."
"My daughter-in-law loves her new set of Yorktowne service and serving dishes."
