"Just what I needed"
"The butter or Dessert plate is the same. Color is fine but it is smaller than my original Yorktowne plates that I have had for 47 years."
"I read the reviews and was expecting less-than-stellar products. I'll admit I can see the difference between my original (made in USA) Yorktowne bowl and the new one, the clay composition and color are not the same. I ordered a replacement bread/butter/dessert plate. My original plates are 6 ¾ inches and the new one is 6 ¼ (3/8") according to your website. Did I order the correct plate? The difference between the old and the new is quite obvious. I find this very disappointing. I feel like they are not even the same dishes."
"The replacement pieces are poor quality , smaller and do not match the original!"
"Replaced plate to 30 yr. old set of dishes. Replacement made in China, appears lesser quality, thinner not the quality of originals."
"Too small"
"Perfect size !"
"Bought 2 Yorktowne bread & butter plates to replace 2 broken ones. The Yorktowne pattern does match the original plates. The size and manufacturing are different. The replacement plates are made in China and are slightly smaller."
"I recently purchased pieces to replace ones I've broken over the past year or two. I ordered dinner plates and they are perfect. I also order butter/dessert plates and they were disappointing because they are smaller than my originals. Other than the discrepancy in size they are great just be aware!"
