"The mugs have faded to a washed out color over the years of use and washing. Quite expensive to fade so much. I still love the unique design of this set. BUT..Have to add older set lasted longer, newer dishes chipped easily!"

"I have had the Villa della Luna dinnerware for many years now and still love it. I am so glad that Pfaltzgraff has this as open stock and I can order replacement pieces when needed. (I have indeed been known to occasionally drop a mug or salad plate, etc. on my ceramic tile kitchen floor.) And, Pfaltzgraff is a great company to to business with. When a piece I order arrived broken, they shipped a replacement piece as soon as I notified them of the problem. No hassle, no worries."

"While the kiddos were little, we purchased 2 boxes of 6 dishes from a store called mervyns . They served us well. After they all moved out, we decided on villa Luna , service for 12. That was over 10 years ago and we’ve only ordered 2 replacement pieces. This dinnerware is so beautifully made and stands up to everyday use while maintaining the look of new dishes. The coffee mug? We couldn’t find it anywhere so decided to replace it. It was ordered and delivered as expected but the packaging was done in such a way with all the bubble wrap that there was no chance of this mug breaking during the shipping process. Comparing the new mug to the others we have had for 10+ years? They all look like new. Love this set of dinnerware and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a beautifully crafted set that will outlast us all!"
