Nice set
"This is a nice set. All the pros and cons of previous reviews proved accurate. This is every day dinnerware, not fancy china. The coloring on the edges of the plates are so inconsistent that it actually looks kind of comical stacked in the cabinet. The scrolls were consistent across 3 sets. We found the bottom of the plates to be smooth, but the criticism of the bowls and mugs scratching table surfaces seems reasonable. They seem very durable and were exactly what I expected after reading the reviews. Very pleased."

"These are beautiful and to me rustic farmhouse like. Everything was delivered within the delivery window and no items were broken! They have done just fine in the microwave and the dishwasher. Things I like: the deepness of the bowls, big coffee mugs, the scroll design that is perfectly imperfect- some items have a darker scroll design and others are lighter. Things I don’t like: the plates could be a little deeper- when eating things that have juice it only takes a small tip of the plate and all your juice runs off the plate. Also worth noting that the metal looking border looked oil rubbed bronze in color on line- and in person it is more brownish."

Worth the price, but not perfection
"If you are looking for everything to be perfectly finished and symmetrical, this is not the set for you. It's a little rough in the color and finish, but there is something charming about it. It's not china, it's stoneware. So I'm ok with it. A few dishes came in off round. I called customer service, they replaced them."

"The dishes are very sturdy and overall i like the pattern. Only problem is the coloring isn't consistent. On some the scroll pattern is very promenient others its not really visible."
