"We love the look of these, but we have had them for only a year and a half, and several already have chips and cracks. We are not terribly rough with our dishes and mostly handwash them. My old set of Pfaltzgraff, which was bought around 1999, only had one plate that chipped in 20+ years of use. The quality of the new stuff just isn't the same."
"Why does the white Pfaltzgraff name and information on the bottom of the Maddox dishes wash off so easily??? My older set has it permanently printed in black."

"Set is great - glad it doesn't have matching mugs, but do wish it had the small "dessert" plates that you could buy as an add on. Maybe over time I'll get used to not having them, but for now I resort to using small paper plates for dessert which does not present well. having two size bowls is kinda silly. Still keeping it because we like the pattern and durability. Service for 16 purchased, one box in the garage in case any break."

"I bought these dishes mainly because of the color. The plates are a little smaller than my previous boring solid gray set, and they are a little lighter which I prefer. I can’t wait to have friends over to dinner!"
