Part of kitchen update!
"We decided to do some updating and modernizing, and to start with freshening up stuff in the kitchen that were now old and boring. We looked around, and liked this Pfaltzgraff 16 Piece Dinnerware Set for 4, called Jaxon. Thought it looked interesting with the bold eye-catching pattern of 3 bands of different colors working together to form a vivid and unique design. The description of the almost 10 1/2" dinner plate: Cut in half by bright white on one side and a dark charcoal black on the other side, with a band of light medium blue (about 1 1/8") down the middle, separating the two. The charcoal side has tiny white speckles, blue has tiny dark blue speckles, and the white has tiny light beige speckles. The edge has about 1 1/4" of concentric lines ringing it. The finish on the dishes is part glossy (white and blue) and part dull (black), and that's part of it's originality and uniqueness and modern look. Totally different! I think of the shiny white and blue as bright and happy daytime, and the subdued dull black looks like the midnight sky. The other pieces (salad plate, bowl, mug) follow the same theme or idea, but each has it's own bold design using the same colors. We ended up ordering another Set for 4!!!"
