Ok but large plates have warped.
"This is our main dish ware set We have had them since we got married 6 years ago and use daily. The large dinner plates have started to warp. We dont own a microwave so it must be from the disdhwasher? Many plates have chips on the outer rim. Im disappointed in the quality and will replace with something else once its in budget. We loved this set specifically for what we call the "plate bowls". Need to find a new set with acceptable plate bowls!"

Disappointed
"Disappointed. I ordered this set to replace a cereal bowl I broke. The glaze on the small plates was uneven and one plate had what looked like a piece of metal in the finish. I just throw that plate out."

Finish on dishes not the best for wear.
"I purchased this set in 2003 and was happy for a few years. The finish does not wear well as it started to wear thin within (maybe) 8 years. Now I'm wondering if they should be discarded as a dark color shows through on the dinner plates. Disappointed as they didn't wear as well as a set I received as a gift from Sears, about 50 years ago."

Awful substitute for a much-respected brand
"If you've had your Heritage collection for awhile - I've had mine 30+ years - you will be deeply disappointed! While my original dishes and serveware are pure white AND sturdy, these are off-white and of very poor quality. I suspect that's because the originals used to be made in America and these are clearly marked as made in China. The plates and bowls are thin. Several plates also had small chips on the bottom when received. Shoddy, shoddy, shoddy. Pfalzgraff should be embarrassed!"

Quality
"Quality dinnerware! I just replaced some of the same pieces that l purchased 30years ago. Still have all of the original serving pieces but have broken some of the everyday pieces. I'd say Pfaltzgraff has to be quality to survive over 30 years of use!"

Things have changed
"We have sets from when we were married and thought we would as to the previous sets because they were looking old. Well the new sets are not as heavy and the salad plates were has packaged with the previous sets are bigger than the new ones. It just looks like we aren’t going to get good quality like before…."

"These dishes were as beautiful as I hoped they would be. They were packed very well and they arrived on time. I will definitely be shopping at Pfaltzgraff again."
