"The quality of these plates is fine--however, if you have the "older" Belmont Blue Gourmet Basic plates by Mikasa (purchased my set about 4 years ago), be aware these newer plates won't match. I wanted to have some "extras" in case some of my set are ever damaged. Unfortunately, the pattern has been modified enough that they just wouldn't work. Almost looks like an entirely different pattern. Sent them back--Disappointing."
