Inspired design from original crocks and jugs reminiscent of early salt-glaze techniques. Yorktowne is a classic pattern in basic shapes and smaller sized plate and bowls still original to the year of introduction.

Early Pottery production in the 1870's made by Henry B. Pfaltzgraff depicts a variation of single and weeping flowers in a bold brushed cobalt blue.

I am used to the

"I am used to the classic Yorktowne Yorktowne which has a soft grey background color for the glaze. What I received is a pinkish beige. This was made in China which h came as a surprise. Yes, I know that Pfaltzgraff started manufacturing over seas. But I thought that Yorktowne was discontinued before that. oh well. . . . ."
