"I received a complete set of dishes in this pattern as a wedding present 46 years ago. Except for the soup tureen that the dog broke while he chased the cat through the kitchen, all the other pieces survived children and pets. Now, all these years later, I decided to get these deeper bowls for when we have food like jambalaya or gumbo, etc. It's a Christmas present to myself and I'm wrapping them and putting them under the tree. Love hte dishes, and love the pattern."
