"Not the same as the original I bought years ago. The pattern is basically the same but it is not frosted on the handles like mine are. Also, they are not very heavy or of substance. They remind me of silverware used in a low key Cafe. Im keeping them however because I needed the extra silverware for larger get-togethers."

"My husband inherited this set and design from his parents when he moved out over a decade ago. I was thrilled to find the same set again to replace missing pieces and fill out the set. Sadly, it's very clear the quality of the product has declined. The metal is not as sturdy or thick and the embossing isn't as deep. It also has "Made in China" on the back where the original set does not which makes me wonder if Pfaltzgraff started outsourcing and cutting costs on their products (which I suppose is the way of all manufacturing companies these days). If you're filling out an old set, don't expect it to be up to the same standard."
