Yorktowne, a classic stoneware pattern, has a deep blue, hand-applied floral motif that adds dimension to the smooth glaze that is reminiscent of early salt-glaze techniques. The luncheon plate is really a necessary piece to have. Sized between the dinner and salad plates, this size is perfect for a smaller meal, sandwich and chips, or as a charger under a soup bowl. Approximately 8 5/8" dia.

I bought new plates to replace some from my original set 28 years ago. The new plates are a little smaller and a little thinner than my originals but the color is the same! I can tell the new ones from the older ones but my guests cannot. That is what matters!
