Yorktowne, a classic stoneware pattern, has a deep blue, hand-applied floral motif that adds dimension to the smooth glaze that is reminiscent of early salt-glaze techniques. This is one of those 'how did I do without it?' pieces. You'll use this bowl for desserts, side dishes, and snacks. Great for baby food, dipping sauce or for potpourri in the powder room. 4-1/2 inch dia., x 2 1/4 inch high. Dessert bowl holds 8 ounce.

Rated 5 out of 5 by This product has many uses. It is a dessert bowl, but so much more. Use it for smaller portions of soup, salad, store leftovers. It is a great size for portion control servings. It makes a great rice bowl as well. I have even used them as food and water bowls for my kittens, as the deep sides kept everything tidy. July 27, 2012
