Yorktowne, a classic stoneware pattern, has a deep blue, hand-applied floral motif that adds dimension to the smooth glaze that is reminiscent of early salt-glaze techniques. 32 piece service for eight. Each place setting includes a 10" dia. dinner plate, 6 3/4" dia. salad plate, 12 oz. soup/cereal bowl and 10 oz. mug. Microwave and dishwasher safe.

I first was introduced to the Yorktowne pattern when I was pregnant with my son. A spiff my husband received was a lrge amount of S&H greenstamps. I went to the local S&H store and redeemed the stamps. I got two huge boxes full of the Yorktowne dinnerware sets. I was set..I thought. then I found I could purchase more of this pattern and have been hooked ever since. I just wish there were more of the baking/ovenware pieces available.

I first stated using the yorktowne pattern when i got married thirty years ago. I love that this pattern is still around today. I have added to my original pieces with hundreds of items like glasses, serving pieces, baking pieces, placemats, etc. This pattern is beautiful enough to use everyday as well as holidays. It has continued to grow to meet my family's needs. I love that this pattern is timeless and i can continue to add new pieces that come out each year. Simply put, I love my Yorktowne Pfaltzgraff.
