Rated 5 out of 5 by frosted placemats I just recently purchased the frosted placemats and i was pleased to see they are frosted just like advertised. You can also use the other side which has a much more colorful darkened shade. So either way you get your money's worth with the mats. Plus they match my beautiful dishes. February 4, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Pattern comes off on my wood table I am a weird one who likes the easy clean of vinyl placements, but it's hard to find good looking ones. I bought this set to go with my Villa Della Luna dishes, but have been disappointed. The ink or whatever used to print the pattern comes off on our wood table. It doesn't happen immediately, but it does happen. My table now has blue spots in many places. I can scratch them off with my fingernail with some effort, so it's not apparently permanent. I like the pattern fairly well, but somehow don't feel like it goes with the dishes - somethign about straight lines in the placemats versus the flowered swirl border on the plates. The thickness of the placemats is very good, but ultimately, this set has caused me to give up on vinyl placemats. After trying these and multiple cheaper sets, we don't use anything now.
