I had them for thirty years! I told my husband I was going to take them to the Goodwill and he went nuts! "But they look perfect!" Yes, they did. Now they look perfect in another woman's home. I purchased new dishes from Phalzgraff two years ago. I bought both the Villa Della Luna and the Embossed Villa Della Luna. Each with eight place settings. My husband was worried the embossed dishes would not come clean in the dish washer. That we'd be spending all sorts of time getting food out of the embossed areas. It has NEVER been an issue! I love the freedom that the two patterns offer. I won't be looking at the same casual pattern every day for the rest of my life! Both patterns bring such fun to the table setting . I mix and match the dinner ware....or not and the serving pieces look fabulous with all of the above. I read that someone said these dishes chipped like mad. In two years I have had only one chip and that was done by a guest. I think any dinnerware will chip if it's not handled well. It's not made of iron, after all. Love my purchase and am happy that another woman got thirty yr old dishes that are perfect and NEW to her! December 22, 2013
