These dessert bowls are absolutely adorable!! They are the perfect size for a scoop or two of ice cream. The colors are bright and bold and just "happy". They use a decal for the design and they could have done a better job matching up the edges where the decal meets but that doesn't take away from the overall look of the dishes (guests probably would not even notice this small flaw). I bought these bowls to go with the mixed service of 16 that I purchased. I love all the pieces of this collection. I just wish they could be made in the USA. The bowls are high quality stoneware and I look forward to enjoying them for many, many years!!
