The centuries-old traditions of Italian ceramics are honored by the colors, designs and craftsmanship of each piece. 60 piece set, service for twelve, includes (12) each: 11 inch dia. diner plate, 9 inch dia. salad plate, 24 ounce soup/cereal bowl, 12 ounce pedestal mug & 6 inch dia. appetizer plate. I bought this set to replace my everyday dishes and compared lots of brands/patterns. I love this set. It is sturdy, classic and blends well with my pieces from Italy. Highly recommend.

The variety of designs on the various sizes of plates is wonderful, unique, and something I never get tired of seeing, and the quality is first rate. Although I thought these would be everyday dishes, I have to admit that the china doesn't get out much these days! Don't think that the colors are too wild or trendy. I went to these from pure white, and my entire family LOVES them. Villa della Luna more than earns a five star rating.

I have never been so pleased with dinnerware as I am with the Villa Della Luna set. In fact, I liked it so much, I ordered a couple of other patterns that blend with the VDL pattern. (Pistoulet and Napoli). Every piece of dinnerware, glassware, serveware and accessories have performed to perfection, and my cabinets are beautiful to look at as well. The books Secrets of Pistoulet, and Dancing with the Moon were a great inspiration.
