This may be entered twice, but just wanted to comment that the butter sticks I use, and probably most every body else, fit fine in this dish.

I was hesitant about ordering this, based on the previous review. I just received mine and tried both a stick of butter and a stick of margarine and each fit perfectly.

Doesn't hold a stick of butter. The dish is too narrow.
