I only use these dinner plates for special occasions and two of them had large chips. I just ordered 5 more and was very disappointed to discover that the pattern is noticeably different than when I purchased them 6 years ago. The amount of speckles in the middle of the plate is obviously different and the colored stripes on the edge is also different. I realize that they are hand painted, but I didn't dream that they would be different.

These are heavy and large. Do not fit in my dishwasher. I don't mind hand washing since they are so pretty.
