Just received my set of Sedona dinnerware last weekend and I can promise you, Kings & Queens would have wished for this set, were they around long ago.
When I opened my set and started taking them out, I swear I saw rainbows flying out of the box and I couldn't believe my luck at having found an absolutely flawless set of dishes!
In spite of their being earthenware, they absolutely DON'T get too hot in the microwave and forget about using a hot pad when using them in the little nuclear radiator! In fact, they're so cool to the touch, you'll believe you're handling ice cubes.
Also, and this was the cherry on top of that ice cream sundae, their made in China, which is a HUGE plus! Everyone knows that all the manufactured goods coming out of China, particularly glazed and painted goods, are above reproach! And the glaze on these dishes - oh, the glaze! It was obviously painted on by a descendant of Rembrandt because there were absolutely NO pits nor was there any sloppy workmanship at all! Were Salvador Dali alive, he would weep at the sheer angst over never being able to paint as these dishes were done!
I believe this is the last and only set of Pfaltzgraff dishes I'll ever need and would recommend everyone who shops here in the future should avoid at all costs any set of dishes BUT these. In fact, Pfaltzgraff should just remove anything else from the site and sell just the Sedona 32-piece set because, in the face of all this perfection, only fools and jesters would want anything else.
