Rated 5 out of 5 by Kathy142 Love this pattern! I have been a consumer of Pfaltzgraff for over 30 years. I have changed patterns several times and recently invested in the Rio pattern. I am not disappointed! It is a beautiful dish set and matches my new blue country/cottage kitchen really well. Great Pfaltzgraff quality. The only downside is that there are not enough "extra" pieces. I would love to see some bakeware, casserole, platters, glassware etc. September 1, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by LuvSibes Nice Casual Set I initially picked out this set to use with another pattern that had blue in the design. Online, the Rio Blue looked like it would coordinate beautifully. Unfortunately, the "blue" hues in this stoneware are more of a purplish blue, like lavender and periwinkle along with thin blue grey stripe detailing. It was a nice surprise to see the "white" wasn't white...more of an off white (very faint brown tint..no yellow). After getting over the idea of using these to go with another dinnerware set, I just couldn't send them back. They really are pretty and unique...not feminine and not masculine. All the pieces to this set are generous size and perfect for everyday use. If you are looking for a true blue hue in your dinnerware, this may not be a good choice. If you desire a nice, sturdy, casual dinnerware set with generous size dishes and a pop of color, this set is a nice option. December 27, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Marty Generally good Check the measurements, as the dinner plates turned out larger than expected. Ended up spending extra to buy the luncheon plates for daily use. Hoping the salt & pepper set will be available again soon. September 10, 2012
