Crisp

Ingredients

  • 1 c. crushed gingersnap cookies
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 3 c. diced apple
  • 3 c. diced pear
  • 1/2 c. chopped pitted dates
  • 1/3 c. molasses
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp. each ground nutmeg and cloves

Directions

Combine crumbs, sugars, flour and butter. Set aside. Combine apple, pear, dates, molasses, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and clove. Spoon into 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with crumb topping. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream. 8 servings
