Halloween Chocolate Cake


  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • <
  • 4 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cup cold water
  • 2⁄3 cup oil
  • 2 tubs prepared vanilla icing, colored orange
  • 1 tub prepared chocolate icing
  • chocolate covered candies in brown and orange


Preheat oven to 350˚ F. Lightly grease and flour two 8" or 9" round cake pans.

Mix all ingredients, except for frostings and candies, together until smooth.

Pour into cake pans. Bake about 30 minutes or until firm in the center. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
