Pistoulet is a beautiful collection of dinnerware, serveware and accessories that are brightly decorated with freely rendered flowers, vines and vegetables drawn from or influenced by the book, The Secrets of Pistoulet by Jana Kolpen. Bright, colorful drawings are set against wide watercolor washes that evoke the light and colors of Southern France. To celebrate Pistoulet's 10th anniversary, we designed 10 Limited Edition pieces, each with a special backstamp that reads, "Ten Years of Magic, 2002-2012. Your cake will become the centerpiece on the dessert table when you serve it on this distinctive plate. Also great for serving bagels, donuts, pastries or cookies. When not in use for desserts, this makes a dramatic base for a pillar candle and decorative candle ring. Microwave and dishwasher safe. Anniversary large pedestal cake plate measures 12 inch diameter x 6 inch high.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LoveMyDishes Great Pedestal I received the large pedestal in perfect condition and think it is very pretty. The size will be very useful and it matches perfectly with other items in the series. February 9, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by LindaS Disappointed I was thrilled to find that the Pisoulet Cake Plate was back in production since I had recently chipped my original. However, when I received the Anniversary Edition, I was very disappointed to find the the fleur de lis in the center of the plant was no longer hand painted, but rather a decal, the pedestal was much less ornate and the base in not decorated with the vining pattern present on the original. I'll be returning this one because I definitely prefer my chipped original to the "cheaper" appearance of this edition. January 27, 2013
