Pistoulet is a beautiful collection of dinnerware, serveware and accessories that are brightly decorated with freely rendered flowers, vines and vegetables drawn from or influenced by the book, The Secrets of Pistoulet by Jana Kolpen. Bright, colorful drawings are set against wide watercolor washes that evoke the light and colors of Southern France. The Potage of Spirit. An abundant soup bowl from the French farmhouse known as Pistoulet. The Pistoulet deep soup/cereal bowl is microwave & dishwasher safe and goes great with other Pfaltzgraff Pistoulet pieces, like dinnerware sets, juice glasses, coffee mugs and more. Deep soup/cereal bowl is 6" dia. and holds 28 oz.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty and functional, but not long lasting We got a ton of these bowls as wedding gifts, and I really like the size. They serve many purposes, and are even large enough for a serving bowl in a pinch. The only problem I have is that after only 9 years, some of the images are starting to wear off, and the glaze is getting cracked. We are very, very careful with the pistoulet, much to my husband's frustration, but still are having this problem. I've instituted a microwave ban on these, and may also have to bar them from the dishwasher. :( July 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pistoulet I love it!! A few years ago, I bought a 4 piece Pistoulet set and 4 of the deep cereal/soup bowls because my husband wanted bigger cereal/soup bowls. He loves the size, and I love having a set of dishes that really complement my country style kitchen. Over time, I have purchased enough place settings and complementary dishware that I now have a 12 piece setting! And all because my husband wanted a bigger cereal/soup bowl. I like that the pattern varies among the Pistoulet dishware. I have some beautiful accessory dishware! So now, when I entertain, this set of dishware is all that I use...so much for my "good china" set of dishes!! May 18, 2013
