I like how the individual pieces are not all alike but coordinated to make a nice setting. They go prefectly with my green kitchen. Coffee cups are taller, which is what I wanted. We use the small desert bowls all the time for gravy or dip bowls. Large bowls work well with salads and cereal, but not pasta. Also bought three serving bowls to match. Some dishes were broken in shipping. They were replaced quickly. One bowl has cracked since we bought the set about one year ago.
