Rated 4 out of 5 by Momnic Only to careful users We love our Patio Garden set. A couple of things chipped but not the regular dishes. I blame that on family members who were not too careful. I am very careful washing them though. The set is SO pretty. The melamine pieces are great! September 30, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Grammcracker Terrible! I had Yorktowne for years and loved them (practically indestructible) - finally decided it was time to upgrade and found this pattern. I love the colors, size, everything about them - except - they chip so badly that I'm almost ashamed to use them for anyone but us. I don't think that one piece is without a chip - and I have a service for 16. Another thing I've noticed is that they retain moisture - I've taken plates and cups out of the cupboard that were washed in the dishwasherwater and days later they still have water in/on them. I am now actively looking for a new set of dishes, and sorry to say, they will not be Pfaltzgraff. February 17, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by ezgoingirl Chips Ahoy in the Patio Garden I received a 5-piece Patio Garden Service For Eight 3 years ago. This product is microwave and dishwasher safe; has a good weight and is not easy to break when dropped. However I must rate product satisfaction as "Disappointment". The ease for chipping /chips on the dinner, salad, and sandwich plates was remarkable with a definite impact on the pattern design. Due to the chipping, I am looking to replace (not re-stock) the Patio Garden Dinnerware and do not recommend this product. January 9, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by PattiM Beautiful but terrible set. Do not purchase this set of dishes. The set is beautiful and upon receipt looks stunning. I was so in love with this pattern and it took me forever to find one I liked. That is where it ended. All you have to do is look at these plates and they are chipped. One year later not one plate is not chipped or broken and we dont even use them every day. So disappointing. I bought several additional pieces so now I am stuck until I can replace everything. Find something else! December 17, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by marlan Disappointed with this set! I am very disappointed with this set of dinnerware. I chose a 32pc set as a 20yr Anniversary gift through my employer. A couple of the plates were broken upon receipt and it's been all down hill since then. Several of the dinner plates have since chipped...small chips up to dime sized chunks. This set just feels cheap and fragile. You feel like you have to handle each piece as though it is delicate stemware in order to avoid damage. How can the quality of a set of dinnerware made for everyday use be so poor???? November 27, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by kmerrill1 Very Disappointed My mother has had the Yorktowne pattern dishes for as long as I can remember and they are virtually indestructible. These dishes are out of my normal price range, but I saved up for them because they are beautiful and I thought I was investing in a quality set of dishes that would last. These chipped the very first week I had them. I have had them for a few years now and many pieces are broken. What is not broken are all cracked or chipped. I wish I had returned them immediately. I am very disappointed and will not be buying from Pfaltzgraff again. November 24, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Tray Chippy chippy Be careful, plaltzgraff is NOT what it used to be. Within ONE week of getting these, four of my plates had chips in them already. Spent over $200 for a set. So.no.worth.it. July 28, 2012
