I agree with the others. This pattern chips very easily. There are two adults in the family, so it is not an issue of children breaking them. I have had to throw away 6 of the 12 piece set I bought. Stay away from this pattern!!

Love the pattern, but just recently had our SECOND salad plate explode in the microwave. Says that the dishes are microwave safe :( Pfaltzcraft won't replace...now we are without 2 dishes.

I agree with the others, they chip to easy. I have other Holiday sets and they are great. Very unhappy with this product.

I am unhappy with the quality of this pattern. I previously had a different pfaltzgraff dinner set for 20 years and it never chipped. This set started chipping within the first months. I love the Patio Garden pattern, but am so disappointed in the quality. Hard to believe that the same company could make dinnerware of such differing quality.
