Rated 5 out of 5 by Ellegant, lovely and very beautiful We are empty nesters and I wanted an upgrade. I ordered the Painted Poppies, upon receipt of the dishes I set my table for dinner. My husband was completely thrilled with the dishes and commented all dinner how beautiful they are. A few days later he looked at the dishes on our shelf and said these are really nice. This is significant because he is not really into housewares however; these The painted poppies really pleased him. So much so I use them for my every day dishes now. They are a breath of fresh air and very classey. March 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stunning I have been looking for a dinnerware set with red in it. I found it in this stunning and very durable set. Absolutely love it. Am asking for the accessories for Christmas. And there are several that I put on my wishlist. I especially like the fact that they have rectangular platters to accompany this pattern, along with the flower shaped service bowls. WELL DONE PFALTZGRAFF!!!!!!! M Grzymkowski December 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by love the pattern! I have two complete sets of these dishes and all the other pieces that are available, however, I ordered cream & sugar and also salt and pepper, which were backordered for months, then I received notice that these items are no longer available. June 20, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the Pattern Love the pattern. I haven't had any trouble with scratches. Although 3 plates were broken, I am suppose to have replacements soon. March 29, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Poor Quality I have to say they are gorgeous dishes as long as you are not plannin on eating on them...I have had these dishes since December and every single Dinner and dessert plate is scratched. I am very careful with my dishes. I feel Pfaltgraff is not the name it used to be and these dishes are not top quality. I would also like to mention that Painted Poppie dishes are NOT U.S. made and that is upsetting as well. If you buy this set, you might just want them for display only because that is about all they are good for unless you dont care they get all scratched up from even casual use. February 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Superior quality This set was a gift from a family member; Each piece is of intriguing decoration and lovely weight. Very sturdy and well made. The designs have variations; each piece is uniquely beautiful with slight variations in tone or glaze color, but all fits nicely as a set. The serving platter provides a nice accent; The vegetable bowl/larger serving bowl is HUGE! It makes a lovely fruit/vegetable display bowl on the countertop. Thanks for a lovely design! Rated 5 out of 5 by mix this pattern with Taos I bought this pattern and theTaos pattern to mix and match on my table. Only thing I don't appreciate is the lack of accessory items that the older pfaltzgraff had such as a gravy boat, mixing bowls, etc. November 4, 2012
