Rated 2 out of 5 by Linda67 Dinner plates chip very easily
Even though the description says it is dishwasher safe, the plates chip so easily. It is a shame since it really makes the whole set look terrible. Unfortunately I bought a serving for 8 set .

Quality is terrible. Not what they once were. The new service for 16 I bought two months ago is all chipped and complete garbage.
I'd return it but the shipping is so costly... Extremely disappointed in the company and the quality of their products today.

Love, love, love this set, So bright and happy. But.....I purchased 2 eight piece settings less that 1 year ago and have less than 1 eight piece setting left without chips. Very disappointed in the quality of this product. You would think for the price the quality would be better. For this quailty go to "Walmart". I purchased an inexpensive set of plates that match (solid red) for daily use to try and prevent any more damage.

Rated 1 out of 5 by saddeb Worst set of dishes ever
I have had my Pfaltzgraff New Orleans set for over 13 years and it took years before I chipped a plate. I have had to replace a plate, canister lid, glass, 2 bowls have chipped salt and pepper shakers have chipped. I have not even had this set 3 months. I am thinking about returning this product I cannot imagine what it will be like after a year of use. Very disappointed have always been a happy Pfaltzgraff customer in the past.

The bottom of the stoneware leaves a dusty ring in the cabinet that smells awful. It's almost like the bottoms of the dishes weren't sealed properly and they are disintegrating. The base of the dishes have a strong, malodorous smell.
As have others stated, these dishes also chip extremely easy. I love the pattern and colors but am disappointed in these. My other set of Pfaltzgraff dishes fared much better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Chris3665 Poor quality-very large & heavy.
Very disappointed in these dishes. Rims chip very easily. Dinner plates are extremely large & heavy(don't fit in top cupboards). If used in MW become extremely hot & unable to touch. Iv'e owned Pfaltzgraff dinnerware in the past & these do not live up to their reputation.

Rated 3 out of 5 by DeniseC Not safe for microwave use
We have had our set for over a year. Many times we have tried to simply heat something up for a quick minute or two and the plate is so hot that you cannot touch it without a hot pad. On another note, the dinner plates are very large and we needed to remove a piece in the dishwasher just to accommodate them. Didn't find this out until I arrived home with them, after the first meal.
