While I love the pattern, I was disappointed in the quality of the dinnerware set. I phoned Pfaltgraff as I felt that I was given seconds when they should not have been seconds. Some (a fair amount) of the dinnerware had bubbles in the glaze. The part that was most disappointing was the fact that the bottoms of many of the plates, cups, and bowls were rough to the touch. If someone were to slide the plate across my kitchen counter, they were rough enough to scratch the formica. I was told this is normal and to take care of the problem I should sand the bottoms with a find sand paper. I did this but feel even though I received a good sale price, I still paid enough for the product that this should not have been.
I have another Pfaltzgraff dinner set and it was not like this at all.
