This is 3rd set I have bought for our lake home and I wanted to be sure I had enough to get us through several summers. I love the design of this pattern and that it is light weight enough for the young ones just learning to use silverware yet still gives that easy balance for the adults at the lake to know they are not eating with plastic ware and they are be treated like guests, not like campers.They wash great by hand or by machine and you don't have to worry about spots. Every lady has to love that whether your BBQ-ing at the lake or your back yard...Who wants spots? I love the brand, I grew up on it, passed it along to my children and now to my grandchildren and our friends It does NOT matter if you buy their high end pieces or these inexpensive pieces, they are all GREAT and lovely and we LOVE them!!! So I say, get them when they are on sale, on clearance, on BRADSDEALS, or however you can. You can't go wrong. Gobble them up and enjoy them for many years!!

I was looking for something nice, but not too fancy. I also wanted matching serving pieces. The sale price made it a purchase I couldn't pass up. After receiving and being happy with my purchase, I saw the sale was still on. With two other designs available, I treated my daughters each to a set in their own pattern.

Some forks and spoons are bumpy on edges, not smooth. Some of the fork tynes are bent out of shape from routine use. We are not hard on our cutlery. My last pattern was bought 10 years ago. My spoons have disappeared over the years so it was time for another set. Now my only recourse accd to people at Pfaltz is to call the warranty company of the stainless steel for eplacement of the "damaged" pieces. Even without the booboos, this stuff is very thin and lightweight. This is going to be a revolving door with replacing each utensil because they are so shoddy. I had reservations when I first took them out of the box. But I tried to make it work. I HATE returning things. Boy, did I learn my lesson. Save yourself the hassel, don't buy this stainless steel pattern.

I was a little hesitant about buying silverware over the internet, because of the pain in my hands. Some silverware are to thin an have edges that are not rounded and therefor hurt my hands. The ones I bought are wonderful. I can eat pain free.

Never having ordered flatware on-line before, I wasn't sure what I was ordering or what I would get. Although it was a good bet for the money, It wasn't the quality I was looking for. I am sending it back and will check out flatware in the store to determine what I need to look for to measure weight, etc. I then will be ordering on-line - probably with Pfaltzgraff.

I am actually thinking about sending this set back...It is not bad for the price I paid, but, it is truly dollar store weight. It would be perfect for a young person just starting out or for someone needing flatware for their summer home or camper. Knowing the manufacturer, I was hoping for a more weighty set. You truly do get what you pay for
