My experience with replacement pieces is that they are not identical to the original set. The colors in the design were ok, but the plate was shaped more bowl-like than the original set. The original salad plates are flatter than the replacement. My other replacement was a coffee cup which was off in color and the thickness of the sides of the cup. Replacements are better than nothing, but they are not identical to the original.
