This plate is now made in China, unlike my previously purchased plates that were made in the USA. Instead of inlaid on the back of the plate, the country of origin info is now printed, looking much cheaper. The plates in this order are slightly but noticeably smaller than my USA plates and the decoration is off as well - the blue border is much thinner. Overall, I'm disappointed by the change in the quality, but with a retired pattern, I guess I don't have much of a say - hence the "recommendation". I do wish they'd bring production back home to the USA, especially with a heritage pattern like Folk Art.
