After many years of using another brand of dinnerware I felt the time had come to replace it.We have 3 daughters, all married and they started out with Pfaltzgraff. Their dinnerware lasted years. After much searching I too decided to buy Pfaltzgraff. What a mistake. I have a service for 12 and after a year none of it looks presentable, It is cracked, chipped or broken.Very unhappy!

We received this dinnerware as a wedding gift. I decided to put this Pfaltzgraff product on our wedding registry because both my mom and mother-in-law have had great experiences with their products. Unfortunately, after only four months of use, my husband and I have already noticed considerable wear and tear on the dinnerware. Almost every piece in the set has some kind of scratch, mark, or chip. We take very good care of our dinnerware, hand-washing everything. I am so disappointed that this product has failed to live up to my expectations. I've also noticed these plates seem to lack the "heft" I associate with Pfaltzgraff dinnerware. We will be looking for a replacement set - most likely a different brand.

I received 12 place settings of this pattern in March of 2012. Already, 2 plates, 2 bowls, and a platter are chipped. The coffee cups are already starting to show wear & tear. When I originally received these, I had to reorder and swap out 7 salad plates because the glaze was so poorly done. I have been very disappointed in the quality. This pattern is beautiful, but the quality is not what I would have expected from Pfaltzgraff.
