Introduced in 1983. Designed in cooperation with the American Folk Art Museum, America takes its inspiration from 19th-century objects in the museum's collection. The sponge and stencil motifs featured throughout America were adapted from the Bird of Paradise Quilt Top, while yellow-ware pottery provided the source for many of America's shapes. RETIRED as of 12/31/05.
