I did read the dimensions but the plates are really small not big enough to hold a hefty slice of cake. However, they are still cute and the quality is good (stoneware). I will say the cake platter was advertised as a baking pan so I was shocked when I opened the package to find a platter not a baking pan (description has since been changed). Will keep because I'm trying to build up my Valentine collection. Also the platter will look cute on a pedestal. Don't care for the green colored plate other colors are muted like....
