I bought this as a gift for someone who appreciates unique functional ceramics. It is really quite lovely. The glazing is very nice, expertly finished. Since it was also on sale at the time I purchased it, it was an especially good deal.

I can't tell you enough how beautiful this bowl is. It is large and vibrant in color. The photo is an exact example of how it looks. I intend to use it on my kitchen island and will fill it with green apples for a fresh spring look. Great quality piece.

The Pfaltzgraff tradition has been part of my life since childhood, growing up in York County, PA. My 42 year-old wedding dishes are the Heritage pattern, still used for family holidays. All of our Pfaltzgraff tableware, accumulated over the years, finds its way to our table both for everyday and special occasions. I never tire of its simplicity and elegance.
