I LOVE these square bowls! I initially ordered two of them, then went back & ordered 6 more! The size & shape is ideal and so is the portion size. The shape works perfect as a bowl, for hors d'oeuvres, and it works great as a plate to keep things contained such as a succulent salad w/ lots of veggies or for french toast w/ blueberries & syrup--it doesn't run all over like a plate. It keeps meals neat & tidy especially for things that may spread out on a regular plate or for heaping helpings. They are my first go-to dishes for everything. I have a full set of Pfaltzgraff dishes in another pattern with all the extra pieces, but I couldn't resist these ideal bowls. I use these as my standard everyday go-to dishes. The colors (white w/ blue bottom) transport me to a vacation on Crete, if only for a moment. You will love them too!
