I agree with the person who said they are the correct size. They fit a true protion size. They are shallow. If you need a huge bowl than these aren't the ones for you. We got our original set 17 years ago, and these are exactly the same as the old ones. Not sure what the person is talking about them being different. Saw their other review and it seems there's no pleasing them.

If you can handle realistic portion sizes, then these are the perfect bowls! They seem small, but are plenty big for realistic portion sizes.

I have full sets of Rio and snow bear, both of which came with 22/24oz. soup/cereal bowls. These bowls are 1/2 that and not what I was expecting when purchasing the set. Very disappointing.

These bowls are nice, but not as deep as I thought they would be. If you're wanting deeper soup/cereal bowls, you probably need to get the Deep Soup/Cereal Bowls.
