The dinnerplates do not fit into the dishwasher well because they are so curved. Also we have only had these for 2 months and one of the plates already has a chip in the paint. I really like the appearance of these but they are not practical at all for use in a dishwasher.

I was very pleased with the place settings. The only negative is salad bowl/cereal bowl is rather small for cereal but perfect for a salad.
