The holes are too big for actual use. Kept them since sending them back amounts to a small refund after shipping charges.

I like the set as it matches our pattern, but the holes are way to big...it is very hard just to get a little salt. Don't know why the holes are so big...the ones on our last Pfaltzgraff salt & pepper set were much better.
