My mom says she loves this mug. She uses it to drink soup, hot chocolate, and more. She likes the shape and everything else about it. The only problem she had is the mug has a chip on the rim. This was part of a set I gave as a gift two years ago on her 50th anniversary. The chip is right where you would drink from. So I told her to stop using the mug with a chip in it as soon as she gets the replacement I ordered for her. (I figured she could use the chipped one as a pencil holder or something.)
