Have just about every conceivable Winterberry piece in my collection and this is the only one I have not recommended.
- Delivered twice because the first jar was smashed into pieces. Second arrived with jar intact, but everything else broken. I did manage to piece together one complete set from the two shipments. I do not recommend because the odds of this arriving in one piece are slim to none. Ships in a regular box, with no additional packing, just as if you were buying off a shelf in a store. First delivery I thought someone goofed, but second came the same way.
- Stand has a very sloppily done motif coating that needs scraping off in many places to even put on a table. Then the design flakes away with use.
- Spigot is plastic and a bit cheap looking.
- Jar seams are prominent and unmatched.
So what's the good news? Does hold quite a bit and is attractive, once cleaned up and if you don't look too closely, on a serving table with Winterberry etched glasses.
