I was given four place settings, 4 small bowls and the vegetable bowl in July 2012. I hand wash my dishes and live alone. The dishes get very light use.
The first chip appeared within a week, and after six months every single piece has a noticeable chip. They get very hot in the microwave as well.
Pfaltzgraff has a reputation for quality, but these dishes are the worst I have ever owned. They were given to me by my parents, who stretched to afford the gift and now feel bad they gave me something of such poor quality.
Do NOT buy these dishes- they will be a bitter disappontment.
