Two bands of raised round buttons separated by a thin line encircle each piece, adding interest and depth to any table. 37 piece set, service for 8, includes 8 each of: 10-1/2 inch dinner plate, 7-1/2 inch salad plate, 12 ounce soup bowl and 12 ounce mug, plus 1 each of: 9 inch diameter serving bowl, 12 inch platter, sugar bowl with lid and creamer. Microwave and dishwasher safe.

These dishes are very simple in design but beautiful. Due to their simplicity they set a nice casual table and also can be used to set a beautiful formal table. They are well made and so far no silverware marks on the white! Love them!

The picture looked better than the real thing. A few of my pieces came broken. But, i'm in touch with Pfaltzgraff and hopefully they'll be replaced soon. Overall, I'm somewhat pleased but not "wowed" by this set. It's stoneware and it's heavy and is showing signs of chipping already. I wanted a clean simple white set and this is clean and simple, but lacks the crisp look I was hoping for. Too bulky to try and return now.

I love love love this set ! The dots around the edges of each peice add just enough pattern to this white set without being too busy. the pcs. are very functional and sturdy. I have received lots of compliments with friends and family on this new set.
