The dishes are beautiful but NOT dishwasher safe! I haven't had this set long, only five months and already I have two dinner plates, one salad plate, two bowls, and one cup that have chips on them after I ran them through the dishwasher. I am not happy with this purchase. My old dishes, that I had for 30 years, never had one chip on them. I think the company should replace these pieces free of change since I've only owned them for five months.
