Bought two for dinner table settings thinking that I would be getting the usual high quality pistoulet product. Not so in this case. As other reviewers have mentioned, this is much lighter and one of the fleur de lis handles on one of my dishes has already chipped. As I live in Canada, return process is fraught with hassles.

I previously had all white dinnerware for years and tired of them. I ordered the complete set and many other pieces of Pistoulet and just love them. They are so colorful and fun to set the table with. Everyone just loves them.

when i received this bowl i noticed how light weight it was. i called and found out that it is not stoneware and i was so disappointed as earthenware chips so much easier. one of the reasons i had chosen this set was for this darling serving piece. granted, the company was willing to have the bowl sent back at their expense. so now my conundrum is whether to keep the bowl and hope it is sturdy or send it back and not have one of the pieces that made me fall in love with the pattern.

I bought this one for a gift, but I'm really debating whether I want to give it. It doesn't feel as sturdy as the rest and a part of the pattern is smudged. I'm glad I bought this on sale because, if I had paid $50 for it, I would have sent it right back.
