Covered Butter Dish
Heritage offers traditional styling in classic white. Most of these stoneware items are 12-sided and boast generous proportions, while many accessories are architecturally inspired. Covered butter dish holds one stick of butter or margarine. But if you put cheese on the bottom and turn the top over and add crackers, you have a novel hors d'oeuvre set. Microwave and dishwasher safe. Covered butter dish is 7-3/4 inch long x 3-3/4 inch wide x 2-1/4 inch high.

The dish had a yello hue to it, not the clean white of the original. also shaped somewhat different - almost looked like a bad knock-off.

Bought this for a replacement for one that my husband broke. Perfect replacement, so glad I could find the replacement as my set is 25 years old.

I needed to replace my old butter dish which broke when dropped. I have had my Pfaltzgraf Heritage dishes for over 30 years. The butter dish I received was grayish not white like my originals which I have used every single day for 30+ years as well as washed in dishwasher. The glaze looked like it wasn't thick enough and you could see through it in spots and it was chipping on the edges. Also, the shape is somewhat different from my other dish-I had two so when one was in the dishwasher I still had one to use.
